Snow Over
Well it happened Maryland finally got hit with more then sprinkle of snow and we are not out of the woods just yet with some forecasters saying we could continue to be hit with snow well into next week.
So what all this snow mean for us? Well that depends on who you are. The average person it’s a minor inconvenience. You may find yourself freezing while you clean your car off for work, shoveling a bit of snow. It’s not uncommon for parents to have issues with scheduling do to the fact schools are running late or closed all together. All annoying stuff but nothing we can’t handle.
With all that on our plate it’s easy to forget that others are affected differently.
Take some time to think about Mom and Dad if you have older parents make sure they are doing ok with all the winter weather. No only may they need some help with snow removal but make sure in advance that they are stocked up with all the essentials before the snow hits.
Young kids may love playing in the snow but make sure they are properly bundled up! Gloves or mittens are a must in this cold.
Pet can have it rough too so try to keep them inside if you can and make sure they have enough food and water.
Just a few things to think about as we move into the second half of the snow over.
