Every Year Westminster American Insurance Company takes the lead in encouraging employees, families, industry partners, local businesses, and agencies like us, C&E Insurance to collect care package items to send to soldiers in need. This year they collected over 3,300 pounds of care package items that were sent to 46 different groups found through agents, friends, goarmyparents.com, anysoldier.com, operationshoebox.com, and many other support websites.
The following note was received from soldier, Richard Boone, who is serving in Afghanistan.
“We received the two boxes today. I opened them and put them on the table and told everyone in the unit here to please take what you need. You have no idea what it means to us over here, living a dust bowl daily, what it is like to receive care packages from home. Every one of us want to say a great big thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
It is so important to help our soldiers and support the troops. Good efforts were made by our clients who helped us gather care packages. Thank You!
